Surreale… non trovo altre parole per il silenzio che riempie l’aria.
Sto impazzendo, voglio andare a vedere i miei ragazzi: avranno seguito le direttive sugli allenamenti? Saranno preoccupati…
Cammino avanti e indietro, guardo il PC e … No, diamo loro fiducia, mica posso controllarli ad ogni passo! Ormai sono maturi.
Uhm, beh quasi. Ho diversi giovani. E se fossero incoscienti? Come faccio se il piccolo King Paul si dovesse contagiare?
Uh, ho anche Fernandes Marco in missione per trovare un nuovo talento di centrocampo. Speriamo non lo fermino all’aeroporto! Non potrei nemmeno andare a prenderlo, poiché il nostro “amato” caporedattore Vamaca non ha stampato le autorizzazioni per farci girare per lavoro. Però come stressa e sbraita al telefono per avere nuovi articoli!
Uffa, se non fossi rientrata qui in redazione ma fossi rimasta in Scozia, avrei potuto veder giocare i miei tesori senza alcuna remora. Come vorrei in questo momento stare tra i circa 4000 tifosi che vengono a incoraggiare e ad esultare per l’ A.S.Fontana; proprio io che ho sempre evitato di stare in mezzo alla folla e alla ressa…
Il contatto umano è davvero un bene prezioso, per fortuna in tanti casi la tecnologia ci aiuta a mantenerlo, ma non può sostituirlo; è un po’ dire che passare una giornata su una sdraio in spiaggia d’estate è uguale a un paio di docce solari: ci si abbronza uguale, ma come?

Accendo il PC e mi metto in diretta con la squadra; stanno scendendo in campo e per rispondere alla mia domanda mai espressa, portano uno striscione con su scritto:

So surreal… I can’t find any other word for the silence that fills the air.
I’m going crazy, I want to go see my team-guys: would they have followed the training guidelines? They are probably worried…
I walk up and down this room, I look at the PC and… No, let’s trust them, I can’t control my boys at every step! Now they’re mature.
Uh, well almost. There are several young athletes. What if they’re unaware? What if my little King Paul gets infected?
I also have Fernandes Marco on a mission to find a new talent of midfield. I hope he isn’t stopped at the airport! I couldn’t even go get him, because of our “beloved” editor-in-chief did not print the permissions to let us run for work ( Despite this, he’s screaming and yelling at us for new articles!!)
Ugh, if I hadn’t returned to the newsroom but had stayed in Scotland I might have seen my “treasures” play without any problem. How I would like at this time to be among the about 4000 fans who come to encourage and cheer for the A.S.Fontana; just me who have always avoided being in the middle of the crowd…
Human contact is truly a precious asset, technology helps us keep this, but cannot replace it; it’s a bit like saying that to spend a day on a deck chair on the beach in summer is equal to making a couple of solar showers: you get a tan the same, but how?
